Say (and read) what you want about gripes with the iPhone throughout the years, but the fact is that I bought a phone when it was first released and the unit lasted until the next iteration a year later.
iPhone 3GS, you have been a loyal and faithful servant. You never questioned my motives when I used you to mass text the question “you up?” while drunk on a mixture of scotch and arrogance at four in the morning. You have made morning potty time a distinct pleasure, and I thank you for the many great games of Flight Control, especially while flying on airplanes, which really gave the passengers next to me a hilarious feeling of unrest. I look forward to hours of Fruit Ninja while enjoying a stable romantic relationship sometime within the lifespan of the iPhone 4. Don’t snicker. Just wish me the best.
